[the door to room 11 on floor 2 opens. within is the TARDIS console and all that surrounds it.
naturally, it's bigger on the inside.
the doorways that once led to the infinite rooms throughout the TARDIS, however, will only redirect you back to the control room. no library, no pool, no nothing. the console itself hums with the memory of energy, but it does not speak. the consciousness of the sentient ship is not present.
up the stairs is a walkway that trails around the whole of the room. sat against the outer wall is a wardrobe that whispers This way to Narnia. it holds the Wonderland closet. pass the cupboard, and you'll find a bunk bed nestled into the walkway, the headboard facing you. the sheets are TARDIS blue, the lower half pristine and the top bunk messy. the only way past is to climb up and over, or perform some serious parkour from the lower level. or you know, turn around and walk the circle like a sensible person. your choice.
chaotic stacks of books are heaped about the room, most in places any other person is likely to trip over. they're all from the manor's library, all different topics and ages and stages of falling apart. some are left open, tossed in frustration and abandoned.
everything else is just as the Doctor left the TARDIS. wherever she is]
